Job Duties:
|
- Analytical testing using a variety of laboratory equipment including: soxhlet, kjeldahl, pH, titrations, HPLC, FTIR, GC, GCMS, UV-Vis and AA.
- Reads applicable literature and determines procedures to be employed.
- Compute and record results in accordance with standard procedures.
- Perform chemistry testing using GOOD LABORATORY PRACTICES (GLP).
- Perform other duties as assigned by Chemistry Supervisor or Laboratory Director

Job Description:
|
Performs a variety of technical laboratory functions in the daily operation and maintenance of the chemistry laboratory. Responsible for independent performance of testing, quality control procedures and recording of laboratory results. This is a fast pace position where the individual must be capable of multi-tasking, and rapidly completing experiments on a large number of samples with short deadlines. We are seeking a self motivator who can work independently but is also a team player. This position will have interactions with clients so good communication skills are a must. |

Wage/Salary Range:
|
$12.50 - $15/hr. based on experience |
